Our Stewardship Volunteers have been Busy
The Friends’ stewardship volunteers were busy three Saturdays in November. On November 8 a group worked to remove invasive shrubs at the entrance to the Mud Lake boardwalk on Cedar Sauk Road. The next two Saturdays were spent removing Oriental Bittersweet from the Field Station’s beech-maple forest. For one of those sessions Venture Scout Crew 9830 from Cedarburg and their leaders joined the work. Thanks to all the volunteers who helped with these projects and special thanks to our Stewardship Committee members who organized and led these work sessions, Christine Bohn, Cory Gritzmacher, Robert Kaleta, and Jim Reinartz.
