As of Monday, March 23, we are not accepting registration for our upcoming spring and summer events. For the safety of our event attendees and presenters, our upcoming events are currently on hold due to the COVID-19 outbreak. As these dates approach, we will evaluate the situation and determine when we can begin hosting public events again. We are hopeful that we will still be able to open registration as the dates get closer. The UWM Field Station is currently closed as we are working remotely from home.  If you have any questions, feel free to contact us via our website or email us at fieldstn@uwm.edu.

Thank you for your consideration and understanding! All of us at the Friends of the Cedarburg Bog and the UWM Field Station encourage you to strictly follow the safety and health guidelines currently being recommended by public health professionals. Please, everyone — be safe; be well, and stay well!

Natural History Workshops

The UWM Field Station located at the Cedarburg Bog offers a series of natural history workshops. These classes offer a unique opportunity to explore focused topics in natural history under the guidance of noted authorities. Hands-on field and laboratory investigations teach ecology, evolution, use of taxonomic keys, and techniques.
