Fungi Ecology & Identification

Saturday, September 26 from 9am- Noon

Spend the morning learning about fungal diversity with Beth and Tavis. This workshop starts indoors with a short presentation on fungal ecology, identification, edibility, and other useful information. The second half of the class takes you outdoors to test your knowledge and explore the lovely Cedarburg bog.

The UWM Field Station located at the Cedarburg Bog offers a series of natural history workshops. These classes offer a unique opportunity to explore focused topics in natural history under the guidance of noted authorities. Hands-on field and laboratory investigations teach ecology, evolution, use of taxonomic keys, and techniques.
