Frog acoustics with Kane Stratman

The soundscape of many spring & summer Midwestern evenings are dominated by varieties of frog choruses. Join Kane Stratman for an indoor overview of the many types of call strategies, call preferences, and social behaviors that define these crowded mating events. Kane will showcase the bioacoustic techniques used by herpetologists and lead a brief walk around the Saukville Field Station to identify a few of the species singing that night
