Creating a Backyard Wildlife Habitat

Thursday, February 20th 6:30pm-8pm

Make your home landscape a wildlife sanctuary! This program will cover everything from building your native planting inventory to removing and controlling invasive species. We will discuss types and uses of various bird feeders, food and water sources, creating covering and habitat, housing and protection to attract a wide variety of your lovely forest friends. Discussions will include a crash course for beginners, with lots of tips for seasoned hobbyists.

The UWM Field Station located at the Cedarburg Bog offers a series of natural history workshops. These classes offer a unique opportunity to explore focused topics in natural history under the guidance of noted authorities.
