Summary
Butterflies in the Bog w/ Kate Redmond
Sunday, June 28 from 10am-Noon
We’ll search for the butterflies (and wildflowers and birds, and more) of early summer along the trail from the parking lot on Hwy 33 to the pier at Watts Lake. Boots are not needed, but bring binoculars if you have them, drinking water if it’s hot, and bug spray. There are no bathrooms.
Natural History Workshops
The UWM Field Station located at the Cedarburg Bog offers a series of natural history workshops. These classes offer a unique opportunity to explore focused topics in natural history under the guidance of noted authorities. Hands-on field and laboratory investigations teach ecology, evolution, use of taxonomic keys, and techniques.
