The Friends are offering scholarships for students to attend the Field Station’s Natural Sciences Workshops.

We are pleased to announce that our scholarship program is once again active and supporting the education of the next generation. 14 scholarships were awarded totaling $1,620.00. These students will be taking a variety of workshops including Botanical Diversity & Restoring Upland Plant Communities, Sedge ID, Wetland Delineation, Spring Frolic, Field Herpetology, Experience in Great Lakes Ethnobotany, Fishes of WI, and Fetch and Sketch. We’d like to thank all of those who have contributed to our scholarship fund over the years, especially longtime member and supporter, Richard Johnson. Without his support, these scholarships would not be possible. Another round of thanks to our scholarship committee who carefully reviewed and selected candidates.
