(FULL) Intro to Lichens at the Bog

Saturday, February 17th, 9am – Noon

Join MNP’s Jamie Schiesel for an introductory lesson on the fascinating world of lichens! From the various forms they take to the substrates they choose.  Learn how to categorize and even ID lichens to species with the help of some household agents. Hike the Cedarburg Bog and spend some time in the field lab learning about the organisms that coined the phrase symbiosis.
