Phenology is the study of the timing of events in the life cycles of plants and animals, such as leafing out and flowering of plants or egg laying in birds. We'll take a walk in the woods, talk about long-term phenological monitoring studies at the Field Station, and show you how you can get involved. Sponsored by the Wisconsin Phenological Society. Led by Gretchen Meyer, Mark Schwartz and Alison Donnelly.
Space is limited and pre-registration is requested. To register visit https://bogfriends.org/events/event-registration, send an email to or call 262-675-6844. Walks are free and are open to the public; a $5 donation is appreciated.
