On this outing we will especially be in search of nesting American and Least Bitterns, rails, waterfowl species, Sandhill Cranes, herons, Alder and Willow Flycatchers, Marsh Wrens, and whatever else may be present. All participants must be adults, able to swim, have prior experience with canoeing or kayaking, and be comfortable with birding by boat. Everyone must wear a flotation vest at all times when on the water. Canoes, paddles, and flotation vests will be provided for those who need them. You must let us know in advance if you are bringing your own boat, paddle(s), and flotation vest.
