Annual Picnic

Sunday, October 1st – REGISTRATION REQUIRED

Join the Friends of the Cedarburg Bog and the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee Field Station for the annual fall hike, pot luck picnic, and a camp fire. The Friends of the Cedarburg Bog will supply brats, burgers and beverages. Please bring a dessert or side dish to share. We will also be celebrating the recent retirements of former Field Station Director Gretchen Meyer and her Administrative Assistant Cindy Boettcher.  Come for the walk, the potluck and celebration, or both!

Natural History Workshops

The UWM Field Station located at the Cedarburg Bog offers a series of natural history workshops. These classes offer a unique opportunity to explore focused topics in natural history under the guidance of noted authorities. Hands-on field and laboratory investigations teach ecology, evolution, use of taxonomic keys, and techniques.
