As we are unable to gather safely due to COVID-19, we will not have our traditional hike and picnic. Rather, we are holding the meeting virtually between now and September 20, 2020. While not as much fun as our traditional gathering at the UWM Field Station, we are hopeful to reach and involve more of our members by holding the meeting virtually. The business of the meeting entails electing Directors and the Board of Directors updating members on FOCB activity over the past year.
Election of Directors: Please do your part by casting a ballot for Directors. We are pleased to be adding two new Directors, Pam Uihlein and Cory Gritzmacher and to have Julia Robson continuing with a second term. Board Updates: We have a lot to share with you. Determined to continue to provide opportunities to experience the Bog despite having to cancel in person events, we have been busy creating virtual outings. We have already posted several videos on YouTube and more are in the works. You can find them on our YouTube Channel. If you have a request or suggestion for the content please let us know! You can either fill out the contact form online or email our staff at admin@bogfriends.org. We hope to provide relevant and interesting topics for all FOCB members to enjoy.
